I took Sierra to our favorite garden spot for her 5 year photos. Sierra loves it there because we always see a ton of butterflies. We had so much fun! It was the first time I was able to just relax and let her do her own thing…as opposed to begging her to “pose this way” and “please smile”. I am really liking 5! ♥

This beautiful family just moved here from Tuscon. Their sweet boy is turning one the end of this month! He was so happy durring our session. Mom and dad knew just what to do to make him laugh hysterically! It was cracking me up. I had to try really hard to keep my camera still! Here are my favorites…

This sweet couple is expecting their first baby in October. We met early in the morning so we could get some “sunny” shots. It’s been cloudy every afternoon for almost two months now! I’m so glad we did.

Awww! These are so sweet and the light IS amazing! Y’all must of gotten up early! And it was so worth it! I love all that gorgeous greenery surrounding them and those sweet poses. Just looking at these two, I know that their baby is going to be ADORABLE! And I love those last two with the flower. So symbolic!

I got to photograph two of the most gorgeous children on Thursday! It was a little tricky at first because baby girl was bit by an ant. Poor thing! Luckily, mom took her for a little ride and she was so happy when she came back. I’m also thankful for the sweet helpers mom brought along. It was a fun evening! We even saw a bunny in the garden and several ducks flying by.

Rachel - I love how you captured such a range of Sierra’s personality! She is gorgeous and that golden light makes her look like an angel or a fairy princess. And that photo of her with her hand on her chin is the sum of all things Sierra, sweet, sassy, beautiful, friendly, delightful, angelic. So, so precious! Those dancing ones by the tree are so fun! In every photo, she is absolutely herself at five, even the pout at the end, which is just as it should be.
